Kate & Brad - South Park and Crowne Plaza Wedding Photos {Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer}

Brad and Kate! I was so excited for their wedding to finally happen! When I took their engagement photos last year, I knew that I would have so much fun at their wedding, too. These two were definitely made for each other and the love and chemistry that you can see between them is super apparent.

We started off the day with me at the Crowne Plaza in Bethel Park with Kate and David went over to Brad's house not too far away. The Crowne Plaza was a great spot to get ready in with the huge sized room (we fit about a dozen people in the room comfortably and still had room for more) and the modern color scheme. I loved the tones of blue throughout the room and the whole hotel was recently updated within the last two years! We popped some champagne and went through the normal routine of snapping away with the girls and celebrating Kate's big day! Surrounded by family and friends, Kate put on her wedding dress and then we were off to the ceremony in a vintage Trolley.

Once we arrived at St. David's Episcopal Church in Venetia for the wedding ceremony, I met up with the guys and photographed some gorgeous views of the church. It was definitely a more modernized Catholic ceremony as the space was light and bright! The girls walked down the aisle in their pretty pink dresses as the guys were already at the alter. Once Kate and her father entered the room, Brad lit up with the biggest smile! I love seeing the groom's reaction and Brad's surely did not disappoint! His smile was contagious and Kate's was equally as enthusiastic. I love being able to see so much wonderful emotions on wedding days!

After the two said their I do's and sealed their marriage with a kiss, we went over to the Maple Springs Gazebo area of South Park for their wedding portraits. It's a good thing our trolley driver took a few wrong turns as once we arrived, the spot was clearing out after a huge Pokemon Go meet up! We were able to capture a bunch of gorgeous portraits in the middle of the day and the lighting was perfect with the semi overcast skies. After their wedding portraits at South Park's Maple Springs Gazebo, we went a little ways down the road to the Oliver Miller Homestead. The name was beyond perfect for these two and the multiple views that the space offers is ideal for wedding portraits. There's a great mix of whimsical with rustic elements to create a diversity of backdrops for wedding photos, or portraits in general.

Finally, we ended the day over at the Crowne Plaza's ballroom in Bethel Park, across from the South Hills Village Mall. As mentioned, the hotel was recently renovated and made for a fun and hip atmosphere! The staff was beyond accommodating and super friendly to us-- which is always a huge perk! The ballroom was decorated beautifully and purple uplighting added pretty tones across the space (always go for the uplighting as it really makes your photos pop)! One of my favorite elements of the evening was how Kate had gotten quotes from students and put them on cards as the kids offered marriage advice! I had so much fun walking around and reading the advice (I was also getting married a few days after Brad and Kate's wedding, so it struck a note in my heart, too!). After a great meal and plenty of cookies, we danced the night away and had so much fun partying!

Congrats again to Brad and Kate! I hope to see you two as you continue on with your marriage!
