Lovas Photography is best known for sharp vibrant colors with an emphasis on light and natural emotion. Don't worry-- we will still get that photo for grandma's mantle of everyone looking and smiling at the camera, but you'll also be laughing and having some real fun, too. We want you to have timeless photos of you being you-- whether you're being fun, quirky or silly, so that 15, 20, or 30 years down the road, you'll think back and look at your photos of you being you. We want you to express yourself, but we won't make you be someone you aren't. Your experience will be you, and we can customize to reflect your personality and love. 

Lovas (l OH v aa s) - Lovas is an old and frequent Hungarian family name, meaning "horseback rider."  While many mispronounce it to "love us," having a family name that is all about love is basically what we want to translate through our work. Being a client for Lovas Photography means that Rachel Lovas has your back whenever it comes to capturing the love between you and your family. 

Thinking back to my own wedding, the day went by so so fast that I didn't even have a chance to have a piece of my own wedding cake- let alone have a chance to talk to everyone who came. What I make sure is that I'm there to capture the day that is so full of love that you'll see everything from your day-- even if you didn't see it on the actual day! I'm a huge fan of the love between families and guests, so I really want to showcase that throughout the day. If you don't get a chance to sit down and talk with your great aunt or a cousin, don't worry, you'll have a photo of them having some fun! My focus is on the family moments and candid connections between you and your guests that truly tell the story of your wedding day.

Pittsburgh, Pa wedding and family photographer located in the South Hills region of the city-- central to South Fayette, minutes from Southpointe wedding venues and Canonsburg locations, as well as Upper St Clair, Mt Lebanon, Dormont, Peters Township, Bethel Park and South Park Townships.

As a Pittsburgh resident since 2010, we've photographed across dozens of locations throughout and around the greater Pittsburgh region.
