Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers
Lovas (l OH v aa s) - Lovas is an old and frequent Hungarian family name, meaning "horseback rider".
Norwegian and French families also share this last name. While many mispronounce it to "love us," having a family name that is all about love is basically what I want to translate to my work. Being a client for Lovas Photography means that Rachel Lovas has your back whenever it comes to capturing the love between your family. Thinking back to my own wedding, the day went by so so fast that I didn't even have a chance to have a piece of my own wedding cake, let alone have a chance to talk to everyone who came. What I make sure is that I'm there to capture the day that is so full of love that you'll see everything from your day-- even if you didn't see it on the actual day! I'm a huge fan of the love between families and guests, so I really want to showcase that throughout the day. If you don't get a chance to sit down and talk with your great aunt or a cousin, don't worry, you'll have a photo of them having some fun! My focus is on the family moments and candid connections between you and your guests that truly tell the story of your wedding day.
Coming from an art and communications background, I focus in on all of the behind the scenes details of helping to organize the day. I love creating timelines and offering my professional advice on the little details to help make the day go smoothly and efficiently. I have a strong emphasis on organization and will help guide you throughout the planning process if needed. Being a Lovas bride means making sure you are well taken care of and well, as someone who knows exactly how stressful it was planning a wedding, I've got your back.
Lovas Photography is best known for sharp vibrant colors with an emphasis on light and natural emotion. Don't worry-- I'll still get that photo for grandma's mantle of everyone looking and smiling at the camera, but you'll also be laughing and having some real fun, too. I want you to have timeless photos of you being you-- whether you're being fun, quirky or silly, so that 15, 20 or 30 years down the road, you'll think back and look at your photos of you being you. I want you to express yourself but I won't make you be someone you aren't. Your experience will be you and I customize each day to reflect your personality and love.
Our focus and intent encourage people from every nation, race/ethnicity, belief, gender, sexual identity, disability, and culture to feel respected and valued in photographic form. Simply put, diversity and inclusion remind us all — that we belong. Let's tell your Lovas love story.
