Amber & Jesse - Strip District Engagement Photos {Pittsburgh Engagement Photographer | Pittsburg

I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for a pooch, especially whenever it comes to engagement sessions! Jesse and Amber's Strip District engagement photos quickly turned into a "I just want to cuddle this little fluff ball" session. Chewie had his reservations, but certainly pulled through and gave me some super cute expressions! Did you see his yawn that looks like a laugh that makes me laugh hysterically? Including your family pets are always a great idea, especially in engagement sessions! We have so much more time and freedom to work with to get your fur baby to be picture ready. I'm so glad he was able to come along and get in a bunch of photos! Did you see his bow tie??

I had a blast photographing this session! These engagement photos in the Strip District really resonate with the neighborhood and show off it's unique culture. Bright and early at sunrise, we started this quiet Sunday morning behind the old fruit market loading docks. It's just one big open lot with a unique view of the skyline in the background. The sun was perfectly coming through the buildings and gave me that gorgeous lens flare that I chase. Afterwards, we walked around some side streets before picking up a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from a street vendor. Before heading down Smallman Street to the 33rd st underpass, Jesse asked if he could do one last thing... his idea involved a shopping cart that was tucked by a dumpster where we first started in the morning. Of course I wasn't going to say no! I want sessions to be representational of your character and spirit! Plus, it was pretty funny and I loved the results! We finished up underneath the bridge and by that point, the sky had become overcast.

What a fun morning! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at Phipps next month! Congrats to Amber and Jesse and Chewie!!
