Melissa & Garrett's Lemon House Foggy Wedding

Isn't there a saying that says that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck? The Tuesday morning started off not so lucky (or was it?) when Melissa woke up to find her power had gone out due to the storm in the middle of the night. She woke up hours before her alarm was set to go off, so she set about 5 more to make sure she didn't miss the most important morning of the year! The power was restored within a short period of time and the morning continued on smoothlly. The bride and groom arrived on time to the J&P and had a beautiful small ceremony with only their close family members. The rain drizzled off and on as we drove up the mountain to the Lemon House at the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The grey skies and thick fog created a subtle eerie and gorgeous effect. As a Pittsburgh wedding photographer, I love traveling to other parts of the area and have been wanting to shoot at the Lemon House in Cambria County. I couldn't have been happier to shoot wedding pictures at the Lemon House! The natural beauty of a cool December morning resonates in each photograph to create a stunning image. Congrats to Melissa and Garrett as they start a new chapter in their lives!
